During the operation of the machine tool, the machine tool often exceeds the stroke, causing the machine tool to collide with the machine tool and damage the parts and overall accuracy of the machine tool. At this time, the limit switch needs to be instalLED for protection. When the machine tool moves to the position of the limit switch, the limit switch will trigger, and the limit switch will send a signal to the system to stop moving.

1. Before setting the soft limit, please confirm the maximum stroke of each axis of your machine tool. If you install the limit switch, please also confirm the travel position of the limit switch. Generally, the soft limit is set before the limit switch.
 
2. After confirming the travel, open the origin / limit in the software

3. Parameters to be set

Soft Max: maximum limit length    soft Min: minimum limit length
The z-axis is going in the negative direction, so be careful not to set it incorrectly.
 
4. After setting, return to the main interface to open the soft limit.

If the soft limit cannot be opened, please confirm whether the maximum limit length and minimum limit length are wrong. If the current coordinate exceeds the soft limit value, it will not be opened.
